We seem to have emerged from the last few months relatively unscathed. Dad in hospital, floods, no water, busy at work etc etc... Well we're on holiday now, we have water and Dad's out of hospital - hurrah!
So I thought I would finish the transfer of the old New World stuff and the really old New World. I've now finished the transfer - at last, thank goodness for rainy Sunday afternoons! It's taken ages, but we have all the New World stuff in Sonar format, which is good. I have transferred stuff back to the time of 'Jasmie' etc. I haven't got the stuff before that, but I regard that as mainly unlistenable (with one or two exceptions), but we also have mix downs of that stuff on CD now. So its good not to be reliant on tapes for a backup of this stuff. Phew! I will send a copy of all the raw WAV files on DVD for you to experiment with also.
We're probably going to have a go at some mix downs over the next few weeks. So watch this space...
